State Cabinet to Discuss Plan for 2 New Law Univs.

Mumbai: The state cabinet will on Wednesday discuss proposals for approval to two specialized universities for law studies. Modelled on the lines of the Bangalore-based National Law School, the state higher and technical education department has proposed to set up Mumbai Law University in Uttan and Maharashtra Law University in Aurangabad. If approved, the department plans to initiate admissions to these varsities from the upcoming academic year.
